Why people switch from Habitica to Alune

The habit, not the game

Some people find that keeping a character healthy becomes its own chore. Alune keeps the focus on the habit itself, with streaks and a yearly heatmap.

An assistant included

Habitica does not appear to offer AI features. Alune's assistant creates habits, to-dos and events from natural language.

Medicine, goals and journal

Alune adds medicine with dose times, goals with milestones and a journal with mood and energy, in the same day as your habits.

Where Alune wins for ADHD

A quieter approach

There are no health points or penalties. A missed day is a gap in your heatmap, and weekly or monthly targets leave room for real life.

Your real calendar

Habits appear in the same Today view as Apple Calendar events, to-dos and medicine, so you plan around actual appointments.

Setup in one sentence

Tell the assistant "meditate every morning, gym three times a week" and it proposes both habits with schedules for you to approve.

Moving from Habitica to Alune

Move Dailies to flexible targets

Turn Dailies into daily, weekly or monthly habits so one busy day does not undo your progress.

Bring your To-Dos

Paste your open To-Dos into the assistant and review what it proposes before anything is saved.

Start on the free plan

Alune's free plan has no time limit, so you can try it alongside your current app before choosing Pro.

What Alune costs

Alune's free plan has no time limit and includes Apple Calendar access, To-Do reminders, one habit, one goal and ten Quick Adds. Alune Pro removes the caps and adds Apple Reminders sync, widgets, Live Activities and the focus timer. In the US, Alune Pro is $9.99 a month or $49.99 a year, bought in the app or on the web. Prices match the App Store in each country, and the yearly plan has a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Rated 4.8 out of 5 on the App Store. See pricing.
