The short answer
It is one subscription with two places to buy it. Alune Pro works on iPhone, iPad, the Mac app and the web with the same account, no matter where you paid. The price matches your country's App Store price. If you are not sure, buy wherever you are right now: the app on your phone, or the web on your computer.
What stays the same
- Features. Pro removes the free item limits and includes the AI assistant and the premium tools, wherever you bought it. Voice input is only in the iPhone and iPad app, because the web has no voice input.
- Price. In the US, Pro is $9.99 monthly or $49.99 yearly. Web prices match each country's App Store price.
- Free trial. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers on both the App Store and the web. Monthly has no trial.
- Your account. Sign in with the same account on every device and Pro follows you. Sync is free either way.
What is different
Who bills you. In the app, Apple handles payment and shows your final price on its purchase screen. On the web, Creem is the merchant of record and handles payment.
Currency and tax. On the web you are charged in euros in euro countries, in US dollars in the US, and in US dollars at the App Store-equivalent amount everywhere else. Tax is included in the price except in the US and Canada, where it is not.
Where you manage it. A subscription belongs to the place you bought it, so you also cancel it there.
How to buy on the web
- Open app.aluneapp.com and sign in, or create an account.
- Go to Account, then Get Pro.
- Choose monthly or yearly and check the price shown for your country.
- Complete the purchase. Pro applies to your account on every device.
How to cancel
Bought on the web: open Account, then Manage Subscription, and cancel any time. Access continues to the end of the period you already paid for.
Bought in the app: cancel in your Apple subscription settings, the same place as your other App Store subscriptions. Deleting your Alune account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Refunds: for web purchases, email [email protected]; refunds follow Creem's refund policy. App Store purchases are refunded through Apple.
Which should you choose?
Choose the App Store if you mostly use an iPhone or iPad and like having every subscription in one Apple list. Choose the web if you start on a computer, use Windows or a Chromebook, or want to see the price and trial in your browser before you commit. Both give you the same Pro, so neither is a wrong answer.
One practical tip: manage a subscription where you bought it. If you bought on the web and look for it in Apple's settings, you will not find it there, and the reverse is also true.
Alune is a planning tool, not a treatment,. You can also start on the free plan first. The pricing page lists what the free plan includes.
