Delete your Alune account
Alune by Ahmed Diab. Updated October 14, 2026
You can delete your Alune account and the data stored with it at any time. You only have an account if you signed in to Alune (with Apple, Google or email) to sync between devices. Without an account, your planner data stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app.
Delete it in the app
- iPhone and iPad (Alune 1.1.8 and later): open Alune, go to Life, tap the Settings gear, then Account > Delete Account.
- Web app: sign in, open Account, then Delete Account.
- Android: Alune for Android is not released yet. Once it is, open Alune, go to Life, tap the Settings gear, then Account > Delete account.
Deletion happens right away. You are signed out on every device.
Request it by email
If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my Alune account". If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us the relay address shown in your Apple ID settings. We confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account, linked Apple or Google identities, and sign-in sessions.
- All synced planner content: tasks, lists, habits and their logs and plans, goals, medicine schedules and dose logs, journal entries, notes, and library items.
What is kept, and for how long
- Data still on your devices stays there until you delete the app or its data.
- Server backups are overwritten on our provider's backup schedule, within 90 days.
- Our subscription provider, RevenueCat, keeps an anonymous purchase record tied to an app user ID; email [email protected] to have it removed too. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your Apple ID settings (or, once Alune for Android is released, in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions).
More detail is in the Privacy Policy.
